The Union Territory of Andaman and Nicobar Islands consisting of about 293 islands (39 of which are inhabited) is situated in the Bay of Bengal. Andaman group of islands consists of North Andaman, Middle Andaman. South Andaman and Little Andaman besides many smaller islands. Nicobar group of islands comprises Great Nicobar, Car Nicobar, Nancowry, Katchal and Chowra. The headquarters of this Union Territory is at Port Blair, situated in South Andaman Island. The topography of the islands is hilly & they abound in evergreen forests. Timber is plentiful and of a vast variety. The white sandy beaches have a back drop of luxuriant greenery & in the clear blue waters of the lagoons enclosed by coral reefs is an underwater world full of fish of every possible variety.

DAY 01: Departure from Chennai / Kolkatta by air
Arrive at Port Blair after 2 hrs, transfer to the hotel. After lunch go for Harbor cruise around seven points of Port Blair

DAY 02: Port Blair
Early breakfast & morning tour of Port Blair. Visit to Anthropological museum. Cottage Industries & Marine museum where 350 different species of marine life forms have been carefully preserved. Visit to the cellular jail, Abreden bazaar, port blair’s major market place (Half day). Overnight at the hotel

DAY 03: Port Blair
Early breakfast & morning tour of Corbyns Cove- for swimming, surfing & sunbathing. Afternoon return to lunch. Rest of the day free for shopping

DAY 04: Port Blair
Early breakfast & leave for tour of Ross island. This was the residence of the British chief commissioner now in ruins. Afternoon return back to the hotel. Visit to the cellular jail for sound n light show

DAY 05: Port Blair Transfer to airport. Fly to destination
